01 // Principle
Radical Inclusion
Everyone is welcome. There is no guest list of the right sort of person, no prerequisite, no vibe check at the gate. We welcome the stranger, and then we stop treating them like one.

Prepare // Preparar
Two things to do before you fly. Understand what you are agreeing to, and bring the right things. The list saves as you tick it, so come back the night before.
The eleven principles
Or, technically, an official burn.
We are not affiliated with Burning Man. We are big fans. Their eleven principles are what make these events work at all, and they are required reading for every member here. All of them sit on top of the eleventh: consent.

01 // Principle
Everyone is welcome. There is no guest list of the right sort of person, no prerequisite, no vibe check at the gate. We welcome the stranger, and then we stop treating them like one.

02 // Principle
The miracles here are made by hand, usually somebody else's. Everyone puts in their share: a shift, a shoulder, a stir of the pot. Whatever gets built, gets built together.

03 // Principle
A gift is unconditional or it is a trade. Give time, food, ideas, a haircut, a song, a hot water bottle at 3am. When everyone plans to gift, everyone gets surprised.

04 // Principle
We exist in careful balance with the real world. Neighbours, locals, land owners, traditions. We work hard to keep that balance, and we are quiet when we should be.

05 // Principle
Nothing here is for sale. Take the transaction out and something better grows in the gap: creativity, generosity, the occasional beautiful mess.

06 // Principle
We leave the land as we found it, and lately we try to leave it better. This one is not negotiable at ReBurn. We are guests. All of us take a shift caring for the ground.

07 // Principle
There is no safety net. The land may provide, but nothing is guaranteed. Bring enough for the day, the night, and for somebody who forgot. Own your own weather.

08 // Principle
Change happens through doing, not watching. Everyone is invited to co-create, and everyone is invited to play. You are here. Get involved. If not now, when?

09 // Principle
Your gifts are yours to give in whatever shape you like. Nobody else gets to decide what your self-expression should look like, so long as it does not land on anyone else.

10 // Principle
There is no substitute for being here. Put the phone in the tent. Whatever this is, it is happening once, and only now.

11 // Principle
The eleventh principle, and the one underneath all the others. If it is not a heck yes, it is a no. We were all taught this badly, so we keep learning it out loud, together.
